I saw that one. “Per arrest” is such a hilariously bad reading of the news that actually did go out.

I think the claim was $150k. Which begs the question—is that over 4 years? If so, that’s $37,500 a year. Compare that to the FBI’s annual budget for informants, which is ~$42,000,000.
