As a rare enjoyer of using the phasing mechanic for fun and profit, I can't tell you how many times I've gotten into arguments about those points of minutia you just mentioned....

Palantir manifesto described as ‘ramblings of a supervillain’ amid UK contract fears Alarm caused by posts of Alex Karp, tech firm’s CEO, championing US military dominance and of AI weapons

I feel like back in the day a lot of these super rich assholes were able to shut up a bit better than they do now.

The media’s failure to cover Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner’s ongoing conflicts of interest as he gets billions from the Middle East while being Trump’s negotiator is insane.

(Especially after what they did with Hunter Biden)

Turns out the phrase “America First” is preceded by the words “Sell Out.”

Murders. The word you're looking for but can't find is murders.

If the 'Save America Act' actually lived up to its name

it would contain Articles of Impeachment

Not a dime of taxpayer money or govt contracts should go to Palantir.

Assuming the Democrats take power, the strategy does not change in what is pushed for:

Full obstruction and halting of all normal processes until the regime is removed from office and in prison.

That's the moderate position.

I keep saying the real "fight" in the Democratic party isn't between progressives and centrists (or whatever labels people want to use), but between fighters/reformers and bench warmers.

A Nursing Home Owner Got a Trump Pardon. The Families of His Patients Got Nothing. At least three families won multimillion-dollar wrongful death suits against former Skyline Healthcare owner Joseph Schwartz. They haven’t collected a cent.

Joseph Schwartz’s case is the latest in a string of health care fraud pardons by Trump.

The president also granted clemency to nursing home magnate Philip Esformes, convicted of a $1.3B scheme, and Judith Negron, convicted in a $200M fraud case.

You can stop using the word "bipartisan".

It carries more baggage than benefit these days.

Same vibes as people who haven't ever, once in their life, been physically exhausted after a full day work shift going on to lecture people about how "hard work" is what made them successful. Shoe shine got scuffed and they thought that was a rough day or similar stress to a barista's day.

... until it gets to the Roberts court ...

I'm not saying don't fight - please, do - just remember the other side wins the endgame.

The fact that Mamdani just seems like a cheerful normal guy who's policies are things like "we're going to tax second homes to fund pothole repairs" or whatever and yet this generates panicked responses like "This is basically Stalin's great purge turned up to eleven" is... telling. It tells things.

"critical foreign surveillance program"

Your absurd right-wing bias is showing again. Like it always does.

ICE is not about immigration.

ICE is about normalizing a paramilitary force on peaceful streets.

Abolish ICE.

I have literally heard the comment after a game "dude, I didn't go for you because I don't understand how that bands with other legends shit works, so I kindof hoped somebody else would deal with it before I screwed something up" 😂

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm always incredibly hesitant to take a mulligan as it risks a new hand being *even worse*, and before you know it you're stuck on 5 cards trying to decide if you need to risk going to 4 ....

(Might not have been clear - I run Cathedral Of Serra with a couple ways to dig it up so my legendary creatures, which is all of them, get "bands with other legends".)

5 days ago 0 0 1 0

So I just use banding to throw all incoming dmg onto Crts that are ind. or can mitigate the dmg, or are just expendable. MASSIVE speedbumps to give me time to build up Aerith. Plus the usual board wipes, teferi's protection, etc for mono white. Its not exactly CEDH or even T3 but super fun. 2/2🧵

The offensive wincon is Aerith (cmdr), and tons of lifelink, with ways to make her unblockable to swing for 1 hit kills from general damage. For D - creatures are all legendary, with stuff like Pariah and ways to zero out dmg, combined with "it all bands" so I can put the damage where I want. 1/2🧵

It happened almost by accident. I still have a ton of "old school" cards from back in the day, and found by coincidence that almost all the creatures in my white deck were legendary. Took the next step on a whim, slight tweaks, and it ended up working out pretty well. If nothing else, novelty value.
