Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day – a time to raise awareness for the ongoing impacts of residential school and remember the children who never came home.

Are the TRC calls to action be answered? A not-for-profit organization that is keeping track of how governments across the country are responding to report by the TRC.

According to Indigenous Watchdog, work on 16 calls to action hasn’t started, 22 have stalled, 42 are in progress and 14 are complete.
