(2/3) Reactivity ≠ poor training. It’s a dog facing challenges & needing space. I used to feel so ashamed when Kona barked like mad. Apologizing, scrambling for excuses. But guess what? There’s NO need to apologize for learning. You and your dog are in this together—it’s just a phase, not a failure.

(1/3) When I adopted Kona, I was hit with a cold shower of not-enough-ness. I had NO FREAKIN’ IDEA how to handle a reactive dog, not to mention my own emotions. Lesson learned? Being "enough" isn’t about knowing it all—it’s about showing up, learning, and growing alongside your dog.
