Did you know that the COVID-19 pandemic caused ⚡⚡⚡ lighting ⚡⚡⚡ strikes to decline a lot across the globe?

Why?

Less travel ➡️ fewer anthropogenic aerosols in the air ➡️ fewer clouds ➡️ less lightning.

So when the world paused during the pandemic, storms got notably less intense.

Cool, eh?
