And let's not forget, Trump pardoned Kushner's dad, and is now making him ambassador to France. And, Trump is effectively pardonning himself too.

Billionaires are using all of their resources to turn underpaid workers against each other, so that you never focus on them, the billionaires.

So, we just wanted to take this opportunity to remind people of their rights.

The #MeToo Cabinet Trump’s choice to begin a new administration with this particular slate of picks represents a remarkable commitment to moral ugliness.

“For one Cabinet nominee to be accused of sexual impropriety may be regarded as misfortune. For two Cabinet nominees to be thus accused looks like carelessness,” Quinta Jurecic writes. “For four—well, that moves beyond carelessness into outright malice”:

Independent Political Networks: Comparing the Discussion Network Size and Composition of Partisans, Leaners, and Independents - Political Behavior Most prior U.S. political discussion research has failed to pay close attention to the networks of political independents, and to the differences between true partisans, leaners, and true independents...

Or, I fear that the parody will be lost on a meaningful segment of the audience (e.g., those who used to visit InfoWars), thus keeping the misinformation going unintentionally. journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1...

My only fear is that InfoWars was already basically a parody (of itself). I'm not sure The Onion can make it sufficiently more outrageous to signal it's "not real" to prior readers and other nuts who might happen upon it. journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1...

The Onion Buys Alex Jones’s Infowars Out of Bankruptcy The satirical news site planned to turn Infowars into a parody of itself, mocking “weird internet personalities” who peddle conspiracy theories and health supplements.

I'll open with what I hope is a positive note, but also worry could go sideways since some folks don't get parody and satire. The Onion Says It Has Bought Infowars, Alex Jones’s Site, Out of Bankruptcy www.nytimes.com/2024/11/14/b...
