Understandable, though the masked URL is visible in your case, right at the end of the first message right after "learn more". And if you scroll through it, it would likely have the flavortext on top and the actual URL underneath.

If it was the button alone, then it would be a whole other story.

This is part of the curiosity I have regarding its effectiveness. The hyperlinks that ARE visible being masked might enter that particular criteria.

Do be warned that nobody else will be able to use link masking even if forwarding actual content within servers (not DMs) that apply this.

This isn't for a specific link it's suppression for the entire link masking function via their own automod.

Add role exceptions to the rule if you have to.

IF they are using link masking, the REGEX filter (\[.+\]\(.+\)) might be able to stop them as they did for steam spoofed links in multiple cases or "discord admin" accounts using subtext -# to cover a "dismiss this message" years ago alongside.

Unsure if that will be of help, but see if that works.
