Monthly reminder Limerick City has only ever elected 2 women to the Dáil. Limerick County has elected zero ever.
Started doing these reminders last year when we almost had a 3rd woman elected ( @elisaodonovan.bsky.social )
Instead I've to this same thing monthly for the next four years.

You didn’t answer my question? What have you been following? Why am I not believable? And how am I inconsistent and not backing up with available records. I can’t remember Cian Ginty being in our private council briefing last week? Honestly your misogyny is so blatant. It’s disgusting

I stand by everything I have said about you! I am used to the far right and extremists placing SIPO complaints as well as all the cycling “campaigners” who have attempted multiple times to put in complaints about me 🤣 so go ahead

Your arrogance is breathtaking Cian. Of course you know more that the elected rep who has attended all the private briefings and speak to all officials on a daily basis.

My family are all private citizens and none of them except my Uncle in Longford have held public office. They can do whatever they like as private citizens.

Please do.

Nice work Cian! A nice touch to bring in my family too. Very reasonable and this 3rd article doesn’t come across as some unhinged vendetta at all! As I said I’m embarrassed for you.

Can you please provide some evidence for this please?

-I have proposed and supported all the active travel schemes in Limerick City West, which since I was elected has more segregated cycling infrastructure routes than it has ever had before.

-The first and only school street in Limerick is beside my own home and was due to a motion that I proposed.

-I commute to and from work every day by bike myself and I cycle to most Council meetings. I am passionate about active travel.

-The Council have NOT provided detailed drawings to the public or us Councillors on the scheme. These were only shown once at the drop in information session on 13th May in paper format. The Council do not make detailed drawings available until after it’s gone to tender. For this reason I am unable to answer any questions from the public as I cannot remember the detailed design of every picture I saw for the hour. I was unable to take pictures at this event as I would have got members of the public in the shot.

The confusion and misinformation being spread about the South Circular Road active travel scheme is being purposely created. Some clarity below 👇 I will continue to work with my community in a collaborative and transparent way as always 🤝

Our wonderful President spoke so powerfully about how the actions and inactions of Goverment’s can cause so much needless death and starvation.
An occasion that will stay with me forever 💚

Today was the most special and poignant event I have ever had the honour of being invited to as a Councillor. The national famine commemoration today in Kilmallock was so incredibly moving.

Attended a fascinating conversation on B-Corp’s in Aoife’s Cottage in Adare this evening. B-Corp is a trademark for for-profit businesses certified for their social impact. More than ever we need to build an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economic system that benefits people and the planet 💚

Did you know that since 2022 LimerickCouncil have had a mobile sensory room at all parades in Limerick City? This is a viewing area and quieter space for autistic and neurodivergent people to comfortably watch the St.Patrick’s Day parade ☘️

Umbrella street in Dublin

Umbrella street in Dublin

☂️ Colourful umbrella street for the Market Quarter ☂️ It has been suggested that Robert Street, the street leading up from Denmark street to the Milk Market could get some colourful umbrellas 🤩 I think this would be a great idea and would love to know your thoughts?

Outside of Dublin Limerick City had the highest number of people accessing emergency homeless accommodation in January this year 😢 489 people accessed Council emergency accommodation in the last week in January. I will have a motion at Council to urgently reinstate the no-faults eviction ban
