that's so cute!
Icymi!
I did rec that book! I love it and I'm glad you do too! The tone is maybe not very cozy but its every thing I want out of cozy SFF but don't often get. Domestic labor! Community building! Friendship! Plus I do love how apologetically Jewish and queer it is

Watercolour and ink painting of a cat-like creature with bright yellow eyes, a sparkly coat resembling a vibrant cosmos of blues and purples, antennae that look like little leafy branches, and a tail in a similar style. The background is black, with sparkles in pink, blue, purple, turquoise and gold.

Fresh off the Easel! The first blooms of spring cling delicately to a Japanese cherry tree in this painting inspired by a recent trip to Kyoto, Japan. The sakura blossoms symbolize hope and renewal of life. As the first harbinger of spring, I see these tiny blossoms as the first points of joyful light after a long, overcast winter. In this digital illustration, Howl and Sophie from "Howl's Moving Castle" stand in the doorway of the castle. We can see different skies through different windows, a nod to how the castle travels. Calcifer the blue fire demon smiles from the fireplace. Pots and pans hang from the mantle. The shelves have potions and books. A drawer full of spells and magical things is on the other side of the doorway. Herbs hang from the ceiling. Howl's guitar leans against the wall, and Sophie's hats hang above it.
Endpaper illustration I created for the special edition of Howl's Moving Castle published by HarperCollins last year!
Cubaris isopod (sp. Cherry blossom, pink panda king) with cherry blossoms Some isopods curl their bodies into a ball to mimic flowers, and some others are decorated with little flowers. Pastel colors convey a soft spring atmosphere.

just the sweetest little pangolin you ever saw
fun fact: no pangolin has ever done a single thing wrong in the entire history of the world
"It’s gory and generous, wry and expansive, a monster story that asks the reader to live with multiple conflicting truths, consenting to cut ourselves on their ragged edges."
If you ask @readingtheend.bsky.social, everyone should read Hache Pueyo's Cabaret in Flames:
A cutaway map of a palace/temple.
A map of a cozy fantasy town.
A map of a contemporary small town.
A map of a fantasy world.
Happy #PortfolioDay! My name is Sarah, and I'm an illustrator specializing in maps. I work primarily with authors and publishers, and my maps span contemporary small towns to fantasy worlds.

Sometimes I read a thing that it seems like I should be really into and I'm just like "This is nice"
That's how I feel about NewsPrints by Ru Xu. It's got a crossdressing girl, cool diesel punk tech, found family! I'm not sure why I don't love it.
This is really important, and needs to be read and shared in the UK so that it can penetrate as far as possible.
Disease is being spread through bouts feeders at alarming rates and we really need to change what we're doing.
A cat-sized tiger-striped dragon sits on a grassy hillside under a tree.
A proper scan. I changed a few things that were bothering me.

A painting of a magic whale, twirling through the sky, leaving a trail of magic behind it. Below it is a group of people shooting fireworks and celebrating!
The Magic card "Spectacular Skywhale"
Spectacular Skywhale - painted for Magic: The Gathering's "Secrets of Strixhaven".
I love getting to paint large celestial beings and little tiny people, so this illustration was a real joy for me. I wanted it to feel as whimsical and freeing as possible, as though you're dancing with the whale.
