Having one of those days where I want and know I should be writing, but also wanna bunk off and read. Responability is winning… for now. Although I have wasted part of the morning tidying a shelf when I could have been started on this before Yoasobi is on and all signs of work fly away.

Reminds me of unsealed figures. At the end of the day these things were made to read / play / interact with, not be stuck in plastic for all eternity.

Yeah today was totally out of left field since they moved Serizawa back to Tuesdays and paired her (as expected) with Yoko Hikasa and their chemistry is insanely good. A year of Tuesdays with these two is going to be amazing.

I started writing pretty early, but somehow time got away from me and I'm only 4 paragraphs in and it's already time for Yoasobi... and since its the first week of the new season I am way too distracted by who the new pairings are. Aaaaa

I dunno if it’s just because I’m in that kind of mood because of watching Agents of the Four Seasons, but I sure am gravitating toward all the doomed / emotionally loaded romance stories atm. And somehow they keep finding their way to me, too!

Okay yeah that was pretty good, not amazing but certainly touches on several themes that I tend to like. Nakajima was great, milet was great. Quite happy.

I don’t think anyone really needs to be remaking movies that recent, especially with all the other stories to be told in the world, but I won’t complain about getting to see Nakajima in stuff.

Watching My Beloved Stranger, a Japanese remake of a French-Belgian film from 2019. I remember seeing the trailer for this since Kento Nakajima is starring, but I don’t remember hearing if it was good or not. I shall find out I suppose!

I'm watching it too, but alas being on Amazon does tend to kill any wider fandom conversation about it :<

Seiyu to Yoasobi is finally back today \o/

Looking forward to seeing how they pair up the hosts for this season, it’s fun to try and make predictions for it. Whatever happens, I’m sure it’ll be a great year. They have some great hosts joining and the remaining cast was already strong.

I don’t necessarily hate most relevant (although it ends up useless since I scroll through all my subs anyway), but I definitely want to rid myself of shorts so will be looking at that!

Mind you, I wasn’t super fond of the first anime episode. With some awkward CG cuts, it doesn’t quite hit the same heights as the manga does. Although I am happy they’ve got Kaito Ishikawa playing Yukiya…

Finally reading I Want to End This Love Game. Viz have been putting this out in English for a couple years now, but I swear no one talks about it. I was waiting for my JP copies from a friend, but I’m excited to dive into it now. And hopefully the anime airing will help build some interest in it…

Agents of the Four Seasons really is a powerful punch to the emotions every single week. Even knowing exactly what’s coming! It’s such a fantastic production from every angle…

How rude of it to have a Yorushika theme for that extra heartbreak. Generally really good adaptation, enjoyed it a lot. Had forgotten the twist (somehow), so that was fun (by fun I mean completely heart wrenching, of course).
