I think anyone who has the patience to read a vn or actual novel could get something out of it, just make sure you're following a guide for character creation because it's one of those RPGs that let you create a useless character and the early game is the hardest part

The world is very well realized too, it's a very alien place you slowly learn about the society and political economy of (both of which are fairly well developed)

game sorta feels bad, very slow movement and there's no player skill involved in combat. But the quests are engaging because it's not just following a marker to a location mindlessly, you have to read dialogue and follow directions and you really do learn to navigate towns like they're a real place
