LA was perfectly fine before all this. Passing out critical information to the people in the crosshairs was not on my to do list. And the firefighters are taking a stand and using their trucks to run the bad people away. Love them.
This is what I do when I need a break and want to continue making my photo journals. I have a lot of catching up to do. But LA has been center stage in whatever this insanity is and it’s all very much unwarranted. Sigh.

My absence from socials started with the fires in LA, rushing my parents into assisted living, back and forth there, juggling art shows and whew, a girl needs a break. So I sat down with some instax and printed some travel photos from London and France when my work was being shown at Photo London.

Evacuated from the fires in LA right now. Last night I learned that Ukraine sent us firefighters and I couldn’t hold back my tears. After everything your country is going through you still have the capacity and empathy to help California. That’s love. In solidarity with you.
