I wonder if it's a follow list turned blocklist? I'm practically nobody and I'm blocked too. Which is also weird bc I thought ppl that block you are supposed to be imperceptible to/unsearchable by you.

Reupping this again. The folx at orgs like @indivisible.org can learn from this. Anyone can.
Images are the victims of today's broken vibecode.
(Penobscot is the real town, stashed in my brain for some reason. 🤣)
Isn't that a city in Maine?
But do the revenge-y characters have a sense of what that is? I think they both do. One doesn't actually want to kill, merely embarrass/defeat. The other doesn't start off wanting to kill either, but the murder angle comes about when their enabler brings up its potential political ramifications. 2/2
I have a couple revenge folks! And each has a lover that absolutely enables it. 😈 They think it would be satisfactory, if not just. And I think the severity of what the revenge is for dictates what "satisfactory" revenge would actually look like—a "proportional response," if you will. 1/2
But in Silicon Valley, meat isn't usually on the menu, is it? 🤔
All Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku really touched on the separation of tech obsession from human connection a decade before Silicon Valley even really became a thing.
Also, Princess Nine needs a remake, though I'm not the right writer for it.
Fun story: writing pegasatyr/minotaur out of order this weekend changed my outline: I thought I was writing the twelfth day, but it turns out it was day 11 all along!!! I had no idea there would need to be another day after (to become the new day 12)!
Most of them are willing to hear their mistakes, apologize, and promise to do better. I think the more examples we see of it, the better. When it DOESN'T happen in one of my stories, that'll be because it's part of the point I'm writing about. ("Those Summer Nights" takes some time to unpack stuff)
Tapping the sign
wheeee finally back from swinging boomer Knives Out lodge! 🤣 What'd I miss? 👀
VERY COOL PERSON: It's four-twenty, you know what that means?
ME: Hell yeah! [starts shoving blackbirds into a pie]
lrp: Write your favorite unwritten part. Screw the order. Besides, once you run out of favorite unwritten parts, you might be able to montage the rest! Or at least have less to fill in than you thought.
First draft is for telling yourself the story, revisions are for telling your readers the story.
I already love Qifrey 🥹 I remember a twitter account YEARS ago that only posts his lil background faces so I'm always looking for them and they're so good. 😆
I literally finished reading v1 of the manga last night. I'm hooked!!!

Anyone want to collab on a murder book about generational panic, entitlement, and the death of something good by strangulation because of refusing to let it go and evolve into its own?
Bonus: these folks were probably all swingers in the 80s.
So for our anniversary my partner and I are going undercover as a normie cishet couple at this boogie retreat place that doesn't think it's for old people but it's wrong, and I can't help but think as we go ANYWHERE and listen to ANYONE that this is the perfect setting for the next Knives Out movie.
Also Qifrey is a treasure 🥹
I saw v1 yesterday and bought it based on this post. In the first chapter it's already paying this off.
Logistics and planning may or may not be gay.
But they sure are trans.

Some people have misunderstood this.
We literally saw how Claude itself, coded by Claude, turns one API call into a DOS of thousands upon thousands of API calls done in the sloppiest fucking way possible.
This postmortem shows Bluesky vibecoded a function to DOS itself, in a similarly stupid way.
It is also the wrong question and simply calling Hegseth and others fake Christians lets millions of others off the hook.
Why does it always WORK? That's the question. Why is the US government able to mobilize Christians so easily. And that's something for churches to work through.
In Those Summer Nights, Brandon basically has a constant background showtunes playlist in his head, and Xander makes use of that when it's Contractually Obligated Romancelandia Apology Time.
Yes the pope said something great, and we love seeing the Trump administration get a deserved scolding but now would be a great time for the pontiff to repudiate and rescind the doctrine of discovery which underlies the violence he is now opposing
He could also restore land held by the church
Yay! #FaveLineFriday! Not many new words this week, but I do have a few.
My favorite scene is the last one! Seeing the culmination culminate and walking the words of moments through the tight window I see them through is so much fun.
