Understand it’s not like that but sort of feels pivotal today.
A reaction, and we have something to pursue. Nothing, and the gloom might overwhelm us all.
They say you get what you pay for.
If it was a workplace, I’d probably like to hear their perspective and why. I may be inclined to accept that there were politics involved where options were limited.
I might also be a bit resentful of the leadership that put me in the position of having to deal with the situation…which I am.
Amongst the Spurs centric misery on COYS-sky, heartened by a story about drug laden crow drones being flown into a prison in the states.
Thank heavens for decoys
If this war stopped tomorrow and then started up a month later, renewable energy would stay the same price throughout.
But apparently, it's hippy nonsense to want stable energy prices that don't depend on mad world leaders not having a tantrum every other week 🙄
When we won the trophy last year I joked we must be reaching end-times…
Should I listen to news coverage to take my mind off Spurs or Spurs content that takes the mind off current affairs?
How much gloom can a person absorb?
32 plus or a couple earlier if they came to prominence in their teens. Latin origins may also be a prerequisite.
Let me show you a wardrobe you can build with $1,700 🧵
Considering invoicing the club for ‘havoc wreaked’
To don’t is to do-do
They’ll keep this line until they’ve wiped out the pesky Covid-era savings anyone might’ve retained.
Yeah, this is what says he’s not the one the most
Frank might not be the man for this job, but he could be the one to get us out of the championship next year…
It’s almost as if there were proper training and background checks for these positions for a reason.
…and I cannot wait to hear all about what happened there!
Ginola replay, right?
👏
This is the one, from it all, that I asked myself “This can’t be real, can it?”
Surprised to see Thorstvedt in goal, the rest of the team look very Walker-era.
My first thought.
Yes that, but more as a ‘team’ of execs.
I obviously don’t know anything, but wholesale change in a boardroom might mean disfunction internally, particularly when the owners are the least experienced in the group.
Teams that are thrown together, and collectively have low/moderate experience of the level they’re operating at tend to struggle on the pitch.
We’ve got that in the boardroom.
It’s simply a must-draw game…
Grass roots.
My @smh cartoon.
I thought we’d left those days behind.
It’s probably been 20 years since I’ve had one of those seasons when football joy is only derived from the failure of others, but here we are…
Using a bit of reality show speak, for me it’s about the journey more than the destination.
I’m onboard if ‘the plan’ creates a sense of fans and players pulling in the same direction every week e.g. Poch, and Ange.
What’s the point in a pot if you’re hating every minute of the lead up to it?
There’s an irony that a pragmatic style is actually quite risky for the club, as well as miserable for fans.
Johnson sold makes me think about the risks of this safety-first style.
With each passing window, the squad gets shaped along those lines.
Not only does this mean we’re unlikely to have ‘stars’ that stay (or arrive), it’ll need another complete rebuild required when the club realise it’s shite.
