My happiest accomplishment this Sunday.

Baking sourdough brings me joy.

When your 18yo son asks t9 co.e with you to get groceries and then just enjoys being with you, it's an amazing feeling to just have him be present.

A quiet house, i'm in my pj's, it's time to read before calling it ajd going to bed.

Mother nature needs to figure her shit out. It's hard to become climatized to chilly westher when the rempersture fluctuates so fast!

I can only imagine. It's horrifying and i am watching from 10 hours north of the border.

This day will require significant amounts of coffee.

What's happening in the world is heavy, and i am exhausted.

I am having all sorts of big emotions about what is happening in the US right now. My heart is broken for the lives stolen, their famileis, their friends, their communities.

It's Christmas Eve. Santa has started his journey around the world. My kids are still sleeping. I am enjoying one final day of anticipation before the exhale and have some time off to relax and enjoy the holidays.

My family seemed pretty stoked with i made a Sourdough Star today for us. The last one went to work and my fam was didappointed.

There's hoping!! Perimenopause sucks! But today i started HRT and am hoping to see a decrease in symptoms!! No epxwctations, but it's worth a try!!

And it was nice to deliver these little gifts to our other steward and JOHS committee members too.

I cannot wait to take this Sourdough Cinnamon Star to work to share with my coworkers tomorrow!!

I hope they love.this treat as much as I do, because they're quite a bit of work, but so worth it!

Yesterday I bought 2 pairs of new jeans. It's the first time I have bought new pants for myself in over 2 years that were because I wanted them, not because it's all I could afford.

I still shopped until I found an affordable deal, but I feel so.... comfortable, and pretty.

My heart always swells.and melts when my 18yo son surprises me.with these signs of. Love.

I got a surprise text from him asking my favorite colour. I told him blue and purple. The next night he gave me this, alo.g with a big hug. He made it while sitting for at Tim Hortons with a friend.

Maybe the Blue Jays didn't bring home the title, but they brought together a nation, broke records, created new fans, and MADE CANADA PROUD!!!
