Got my contributor copy today! I adore this cover and I'm very excited about this brand-new anthology which features my horror story "Food Baby" 👀

I could not agree more! Constraint will often increase creativity, not stifle it. Some of my best stories came from contest prompts that restricted me to a genre, a word count, a specific action or character.

Amen. You won't find me outsourcing my mind to a robot, especially not one trained on human beings' work without permission, attribution, or compensation.
Finished this classic book and had to sit with it for a couple of days. Of all of Levin's books, this one, for me, was the hardest to read, witnessing the MC embrace evil to become a hero. If the goal was to leave us questioning which world was better, the old or the new, then it fully succeeded.

IDK but if you haven't already done this, search up the discontinued item on ebay. A ton of places sell their leftover stock there. I know from years of being bummed when they discontinue my favorite lipstick, nailpolish, etc. Someone on ebay usually has it.
True. Currently still in bed, in the darkness, procrastinating getting up to make my kids get ready 😩
I've got one instance. But this is literally the only one i could think of. www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...

Just finished this great haunted house read 📖
I queried my first book to somewhere north of 100 agents, shelved that book, and wrote an entirely new one, for which I am now prepared to query 100 more agents. I take my hat off to you. That's a lot of rejection.
Are you looking for collections? I write horror comedy short stories.

Finished this last night. An excellent read. I wish everyone in America would read this book, especially politicians.
Of course I remember On Top of Spaghetti! USA midwest here
What he said.
My thoughts exactly! Sharing.
99K, which is too long IMO. I will cut it down in edits.
You can't seem to get your movies made. Do you:
1. Keep writing original scripts and working on other film projects,
2. Look for a new job, or
3. Create AI-generated movies with software that stole your IP as well as future collaborators' IP, making yourself a pariah? 🤔 variety.com/2026/film/ne...
I looked this guy up on IMDB. None of these 3 upcoming movies he's talking about are listed as being in production. He's credited on zero projects since last year, with no writing credits since 2019. Seems like someone who's trying to stay relevant. I get it, Hollywood's a hustle, but come on, man.

Just finished writing my first draft of my first horror novel. On Friday the 13th. That is all.
Post a banger that's not in English...
(I will love this song and this little girl until the day I die)

Exactly. Or just listen to your body. I eat bread pretty much every day. No medical issues and I'm at a healthy weight. A friend of mine has medical issues that get worse when she eats gluten so she avoids it. 🤷
