I do question some of the scouting though, whoever thought Sesko was worth £80m or Woltermade would work in our team must have been pissed. We were obviously in full panic mode at that point. & as for Wissa at £50m, fuck me.

I think he wanted Mbeumo first but yeah maybe, most of the fan base also wanted Elanga, I think we all remember agent Osula & all that shit. If we’d let Isak join Liverpool earlier & bought Ekitike which I believe we would have then the season would have been very different imo.
Second & third choice targets in a lot of cases, certainly everyone bar Thiaw who joined in the summer probably weren’t first choice. The whole season has been a shit show from top to bottom & all momentum seems to have been lost.
The players are 💯 on the beach, the last 2 performances show that. Season is over, the financial restrictions of SCR means conference league is pointless from a clubs point of view & players clearly aren’t arsed about it either.
If people want their team to lose to prove a point or because they don’t rate Howe, then I suggest supporting a football club isn’t for them.
I’ll never call for him to go but it feels inevitable it has to end, I’m just sad at how it’s all played out. Hopefully when Howe does go he’s remembered in the right way & people are thankful for what he’s done for the club. Some of those players also need moving on.
Howe was always going to leave the club at some point but for it to all start to unravel like it is, is sad really. Players have decided for whatever reason they aren’t playing for him. The whole thing has stalled, the togetherness gone, in the space of 12 months we’ve become unrecognisable #NUFC
He had to spend heavily to compete given what he inherited. He made CL with a team regularly including Miggy, Longstaff, Joelinton & Schar, players who were written off before hand. Spending is relative, I remember a #NUFC manager breaking the world record & setting a new record for a defender.
I think we sometimes lose sight of what he has actually achieved in his time here. This season has been a disaster with the odd high point chucked in, no getting away from that & Howe, in his position as manager, has to take responsibility which I’m sure he does but it doesn’t make him shit.
They seemed to be having a good laugh, got a bit competitive at times 🤣
youtu.be/Tsfb4uMZgjw?...
This is good 😁🤣
Whilst we’re all disappointed with the season & we’re all allowed to say it’s been shit but I think it’s worth remembering Howe didn’t walk into a club regularly getting CL football & winning trophies. It’s Howe who has set our current standards, ironically his own success may be his downfall #NUFC

Something to brighten up your day. Monkey tennis — talk to me!
An embarrassment to the city of Newcastle & the university.
Inequality, talk to me! Give it a watch, really interesting content. Does @uklabour.bsky.social have the balls to act?
Pat Butcher 👍
Yep
That’s football
It’s starting to look that way.
No, Howe expects to work with a DoF, the whole Howe is a control freak narrative is nonsense. It’s who the DoF is that matters to him & the previous incumbent was never going to work.
It’s now becoming obvious there will be change. A sad way for Howe to bow out, he’s been outstanding for #NUFC
Watching that today I can only assume the players know or strongly suspect Howe won’t be there next season & a few of them won’t or strongly suspect they won’t be there next season. #NUFC
Politics has broken a 200 year trend. Here's what happens next

Why does anyone even read this shit anymore?
WTF is this shitty trumpet thing in the Wales game. Useless
Might want to ask the delusional fuckwit why prices are so high then 🤦♂️
Me when I see yet another Romano story about an #NUFC player this summer
Look forward to admiring his time tearing up the Dutch league before we flog him to Brighton to avoid a points deduction #NUFC 👍
I think we’re all splitting hairs here, both excellent, both with great qualities. If they are our FB’s in 3/4 years time we’ll have done very well & I wouldn’t swap either. Should be building teams around players like those not flogging them.
Hall is an exceptional footballer, outrageous talent, but personally I think Tino is a better defender. I’d be looking to have both as my full backs for as long as possible.
