Yeah...this is abusive language. This is not okay.

Pedagogies that tackle racial power will be most uncomfortable for those who benefit from that power.

This person does brilliant work in ‘public outreach’. Here infra, explanation of a part of Mudimbe’s work. Gnosis is a critical term and Mudimbe an important philosopher.
KP is far from it and probably laughs at the same banter due to his proximity to power. He’s a horrid person anyway. However, I don’t think I want to throw working class folks under the bus. Also, it’s a white supremacist flex to show brown folks what they are worth, ie, fit for cornershops.
Thank you. Why would the picture make anyone laugh, we wonder, right? It’s the automatic attribution of South Asian diaspora to working/owning cornershops that are often called ‘Cash and Carry’. Making fun of people trying to make a life in a foreign land isn’t the flex they think it is.
Continuing peddling racist cr*p. Not everyone has to agree with you.
Racist rubbish.
I’m the last person standing to speak in favour of Kash Patel. However, I don’t ‘laugh at’ problematic proximities to racist stereotypes.
When DT ‘offshored’ ( loathe the term) migrants, the world was horrified or was it? EU ‘return hubs’ are being hailed as an ‘innovative solution’. How about US/EU stop leeching off the global south resources? Remember, our comfort in the global north is built on the backs of folks from the south.
The continent that has devastated the planet, committed genocides on its own land as well as every other, continues to fuel wars and climate devastation, driving people to flee the consequences has, unsurprisingly, no compunction causing even more harm to other human beings...
🙏
Ordure.
Et le langage. Comme si on ne parlait pas de la résistance à la hausse monstrueuse des frais juste pour les étrangers.
DT/US: EU’s wet dream.
EU voted fancy ‘return hubs’ for migrants & asylum seekers in total indifference. Migrants face detention for up to 2 years & can be ‘returned’ to a country outside EU (not their own).
Commodity humanity.
We are doomed as a generation!

whoever still thinks this website is better than twitter for some reason- a woman made friends with too many starving palestinians so liberals fitted her up as a criminal and hounded her off the website. that's your 'progressive social media' dream bestie
I’m so sorry. This is so disturbing. It’s totally unhinged hatred. Sending healing vibes to you
Oh goodness!
Chutney de mangue my my
Oh wow —- j’aimerais beaucoup gouter un tel plat. Ça doit être un délice!! Moi juste des carottes râpées (désolé pas fait-maison)
I'm so very sorry to hear that. It's such a shame that we can't trust all human beings. It does not have to be like that.
Appreciate the comment 🙏
Thanks 🙏💚

Me in blue kurta and white pyjama with a bag without the shades
Going out to neighbour’s for apéritif. Wearing shades so they don’t see my tired, watery eyes.
The fit (kurta and bag) is just presents from cousins. Will wear white trainers to match.
Intersectionality in interregnum: A conjunctural keyword analysis Sirma Bilge Dialogues in Sociology 2025 Abstract Does intersectionality speak theoretically and politically to our current moment, to its multiple and interrelated crises! Does its explanatory force match its claims? Is it of any use in the service of building connected struggles to dismantle the matrix of exploitative and oppressive power structures and relations that it purports to examine in their entangled complexities! And, crudally, does it help us envision and build alternatives to a present that is clearly not working? This paper aims to contribute to an open-ended, collaborative project critically engaging intersectionality - discerning what to discard, retain, or rework so that it may serve as a decisively counter-hegemonic tool today. This requires confronting Intersectionality's theoretical gaps, as well as is policical dissonance. The article's necessarily limited Input consists of proposing a method and applying it to salient definitional and political challenges to intersectionality's conceptual coherence and counter-hegemonic potential.
Anyhoo, feeing well. Finished reading this stellar contribution to intersectionality studies by one of the most cited and specialist authors. Sirma Bilge's essays, esp the one on whitening intersectionality (2015), are compelling.

Oh I can get behind that one
Same here . Almost lunch time here, 1 pm.
Have a lovely day.
I do have swedes and could have added them but I’m not making food today so not trying to complicate it.
Green asparagus is a delight if well made. It’s so tender, really. I’ve never tried it roasted as am worried I’d spoil it. I only ever make it steamed. And we get green asparagus for a month or so locally in the spring — April/May here.
I’ll have to be up on my feet if I wish to feed myself proper. I don’t want to jinx it but I think he’s overcooking the asparagus. Hopefully it’s a vegetable from his culture, he should know how to handle it 😀
He says that it is curly parsley and that it’s looking flat because it’s just tired. 🤣🤣
