If you are a woman, you could also join the 95,000 other women who have signed this letter in support of trans women, and show your trans sisters that you've got their backs.

If you support trans people's rights to live safely as themselves, to be able to access healthcare, employment and go for a wee in peace, I'd really encourage you to make a post today, and make yourself visible.
I JUST WANT TO SAY IF YOU ARE TRANS AND READING THIS I LOVE YOU AND SO DO ALL MY MATES. By Dirtee Murfee
It's Trans Day Of Visibility. It's getting more & more dangerous to be visibly trans, & more & more important for allies to be visible too. Trans people are such a tiny minority group, which makes it easy to target them. But it's much harder to do that if they are surrounded by supporters.
And thus Ich wake yn the daweninge
And Ich steppe out syde
And Ich take a depe breathe and koude ful wel flye
And Ich screame wyth al puissance of my lunges
What ys goinge on?
And Ich saye hey ey ey yey
hey ey yey
Ich saye hey:
WHAT YS GOINGE ON?
That is gratuitously hardcore!
I'll never forget you trying to fit as many children as possible into the same sleeping bag 😆. And we kept taking it in turns to go to the pub for a nip of brandy! There was frost inside the tents in the morning!

It's anti-trans discrimination. Plain and simple.
@nionwomen.bsky.social have bust through 95,000 signatures! 🎉🎉
Now let’s get this to 96,000.
If you are disgusted at what the Girl Guides have done to young trans girls, or how the Women’s Institute are turning their back on their inclusion of trans women, then you need to sign notinourname.org.uk
Oh my goodness I camped in April once... Never again!
Excellent analysis by @joannelockwood.bsky.social of Girlguiding's recent disappointing decision to exclude trans girls and women.

“Frameworks permitting routine exclusion or discretionary verification of sex based on appearance or stereotypes would raise serious concerns under international human rights law…”
UN experts remind the UK that it must avoid gender policing and ensure trans folk can live with safety and dignity.

The latest episode of Philosophy Tube is about conversion therapy, why it’s still legal in the UK, and the ways the British government is implicated in it making it NHS policy.
Proud to expose this stuff ✊

Putting together an analysis of all the anti trans laws over the last few years and there's never been anything like this in US history. The total number of state laws passed in 5 years (300+) approaches the total number of Jim Crow laws (400+) passed over a 100 years.
I analyzed over 10 years of anti-trans legislation. Over 330 bills have passed, with ~300 of them in just the last 5 years. There is no precedent in American history for so many bills to target one particular minority group like this in such a short timeframe.

1/🧵 Why this is a nice wee amendment for a backbencher to advance trans rights…
This can be included as a rider in most bills. It only has a declaratory effect but clearly states Parliament’s view. It also gives Whitehall and devolved administrations the widest possible power to amend the law.
“She’s the exception, I am the rule.”
Such articulate cutting through of the nonsense around puberty blockers and eg Keira Bell’s detransitioning from Stephanie Lynnette on GMB this morning. It is also a refreshing relief to see a trans person actually being allowed to speak for once!
If you've watched how NHS England - stuffed, as Kemi Badenoch explicitly told us, with her handpicked transphobes - does trans* healthcare you can't be surprised by this from @erininthemorning.com.
But still, it's an important service to see her lay it all out.
Zack on stage at wembley.
Trans rights are human rights.
Thank you, Wembley.

Great article, well worth the long read.
📢MP email template: Only trans-affirming legislation can fix the chaos created after the April 2025 Supreme Court ruling. Conflicting tribunal decisions, confusing EHRC guidance, and real harm for trans people and workplaces. Use this template to contact your MP.

⚠️ PUBLIC HEALTH WARNING: We believe NHS England and DHSC policy on transgender healthcare shows signs of ideological capture by the gender critical movement. Current decisions risk serious harm to trans people and undermine evidence-based care.

And so we write to brilliant postgraduate students from Sudan, withdrawing the offers and scholarships they won in open competition with the best in the world. A sad day for the University of Oxford.

Screenshot of this consultation landing page with these contact details highlighted: Contact NHS England Specialised Commissioning england.scengagement@nhs.net Clinical policy for prescribing of masculinising and feminising hormones for children and adolescents who have gender incongruence or dysphoria Overview NHS England is committed to working with a wide range of patients, patient groups and other stakeholders in developing the services it commissions. In line with NHS England’s published methods for the formation of national clinical commissioning policy, public consultation presents an important step in the process. It allows us to test and get feedback on proposals; check that draft policies are well evidenced; ensure potential impacts have been fully captured, are clearly understood and that appropriate mitigations have been identified; and, consider alternatives before final decisions are taken.

In 2025 a Policy Working Group was formed by NHS England to establish the evidence base for MAF Hormones. NHS England commissioned a third party to undertake a further independent evidence review of published evidence including research that had been published since NICE’s previous review of the evidence in 2021.
Question to hive mind: Does anyone have access to any information about which people/clinicians were part of

Yesterday the NHS banned all under 18 prescriptions of HRT for trans young people.
This ban was justified by 10 new studies that largely stated NO EVIDENCE for under 18s HRT exists.
The study underpinning this played one particular trick.
Let's briefly look at how the NHS rigged the game 1/5
Important thread providing more of the detail than I could be motivated to add.
The '10 studies' do not merit detailed analysis of everything they get wrong - & thread is just the tip of the iceberg in what they get wrong, but a useful starting point nevertheless.
In order to justify removing the healthcare from trans youth in the UK, 96.9% of studies into trans healthcare treatment were excluded, and no studies on non-binary people included at all.
