The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

Like most here, I am horrified and heartbroken over what has happened in Minneapolis with the death of yet another brave citizen in the fight against ICE abuses. No one should have to pay that price for our freedom, and no family should have to hear that terrible news.

Alex Pretti wasn’t a part of “engineered chaos.” He was a nurse who cared about people. An individual. What is “engineered chaos” is what this admin is doing in blue cities to justify invocation of the insurrection act.

To those blaming Walz for not mobilizing the Guard, he did that six days ago. I have to say it's disturbing to see people angry at Walz instead of the government agents that just executed a man.
