Optometrist appt today. I’m at the age where I was asked if I prefer better distance vision with contacts and potential reading glasses or a lower prescription. I felt the tension of choosing between books and birds. (I chose birds.)

Thanks @anku.bsky.social for a great tool that allowed me to import my tweets to Bluesky!
It got interrupted a few times because my laptop has a memory leak somewhere and I’d have to restart, but I could just reset the extension to the last-imported date and start it again.
I used the Porto extension to migrate 19.1k of my 22k tweets over several days (yay vacation). After downloading my Twitter archive, I connected the extension to Bluesky and my archive files and walked away.

Today I learned that it’s a good idea to check which Node version I’m on before trying to use the VS Code SPFx Toolkit extension to make a new solution.
Our homemade Christmas tree this year uses scrap wood and a book theme. Top billing: Ted Lasso, @courtneyellis.bsky.social and @davidwswanson.bsky.social (photo does not capture Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer on the other side).
