The early years of Crossworth were extremely rough, as establishing infrastructure so deep into the caves proved to be slow and tedious. Securing the roof and walls of the cavern was put first and foremost to ensure the longevity of the future facility.

As the night falls upon the abandoned stone towers of Ravenside, some swear they see beasts roaming the walls, watching from their perches. Whatever they are, they seem content being locked behind the gates.

Crossworth has it's own rail network spanning across the facility and the surrounding area.
When Crossworth was blocked off from the outside world, these Fireless Locomotives were the only truly reliable form of vehicle transport for those below.
They were known as "Whispers".

Quite a few Toy Trains have one way coupling systems that are not omnidirectional. The front of a piece of rolling stock has one type while the back has the other, usually being the very thing that marks the front and back of said rolling stock.
