In 1924 Sidney Rustin opened his first shop in London's Shoreditch district where he sold wood finishing products to local residents and trades people.

Moved the table inside for final finishing. The top alone weighed almost 250 lbs!

Set up the top on saw horses to paint the legs and base and finished the top with a natural stain and briwax.

This looks stunning!!

An old teak drawer with wooden handles, it looks tired

The same chest of drawers. This time the wood has been renovated using briwax, then half of it has been painted in diagonal stripes of black, green and cream. The wooden handles have been replaced with black bar handles.

Sandpaper and briwax are your friends!

Maybe not to every bodies taste, but we just upcycled two wooden drawers we got at auction.
