Hahaha absolutely! They seem to forget the peasant and slave revolts π
And the fact that they were STILL wealthy! They didn't really even lose anything. Pure greed. Makes me think of what a person said "we have a whole show dedicated to hoarders and call it mental illness. Just not when it comes to money."
I think the civil rights movements are what sealed the fate. They hated seeing women and minorities being educated and thriving. And now.. they need to practice DEI? Have empathy towards people? Pay fairly? Hell no! White men were one thing.. but women and minorities?!
Baha sounds about right. I had to watch a video in school about dodge factory workers complaining about offshoring jobs and blaming it on immigrants while their CEO made the decision to do so for cheaper labor. π if we could stop idolizing the rich and listening to racist bs we would be better off
Ugh right? People have to settle their differences through mediation and not violence - why are governments the exception? And I agree, people just want to live well and fully. Unfortunately the greedy that couldn't even spend all their money want even more.. so they set up these systems to keep it.
Yes, I agree. What drives me crazy is we have data for daaays that proves that equity provides long-term benefits and longevity. Sadly, it's become a capitalist nightmare of sucking every last penny from labor and the market. Not a new tactic but the greedy are seemingly never satisfied.
Oh I remember too. My dad worked for EDS. We used to do soo many events. They sponsored picnics, env clean up, derby races, kids at work day and more. I looked into EDS a few years ago after arguing with my maga dad.. turns out they laid thousands of people off (including my dad) for sheer greed.
Now that the corporations are considered ppl by law (thx citizens united) and they buy politicians to write beneficial laws.. they don't even have to pretend they care about the workers pay, balance or rewards.
Not anti-sovereignty? Most nations were claimed through blood and displacement of indigenous people for the sake of resources & power. Animals freely migrate across the planet. Why should we perpetuate what wealthy people use (boarders) to keep us enslaved and fighting each other?
The person or team with the innovation that makes the corporations billions more in revenue *may* get a pizza party or paper that says good job
Absolutely not. The company doesn't have to create more equitable conditions. They base it all on the company mission and values. It's all about brand identity & loyalty for free labor and innovative ideas. In which pay out goes straight to the execs and share holders. online.hbs.edu/blog/post/em...
This is the reason for the grueling interview processes. They are vetting for loyalists (weeding out those who can't dedicate the time for all the interviews & need a paycheck the most) who will work hard against their own best interest. Who cares more about a mission statement than a paycheck.
Right, this is a global affair. People need to evolve and spread compassion past their own nationalities so we can bring the battle to all the culprits across the globe. Why should compassion and justice stop at an imaginary border? This only helps the corruption and inhumanity.
It's more dangerous to be the wife or child of a police officer than being an actual police officer.
And got punished for it. So damned if we do - damned if we don't. They apparently need more bodies in the prisons π€

My business degrees, which I earned with the intention to become HR, made me realize that HR are not fighters for workers like I was lead to believe. Rather, they pacify the workers while answering to share holders. Corp dems are the same. Keeping the wealthy happy while throwing small bones to us.
One resume and one interview to confirm the skills should be all that's needed.
Job obligations that state "and other tasks or duties" is wage theft as well. Free fucking labor. My business degree taught me that they call free labor "buy in" meaning workers are so loyal they will take on duties they aren't paid for. Like training, brand advertising, recruitment, and much more

Voter data gets very muddled due to factors like this. So when we consider party majority - we are mostly liberal. When we consider non-voters - why aren't they voting? The system is rigged and any dem worth their salt would bring awareness and fight it.
Or vote in most cases. Which benefits white conservatives.
Badge of honor
Seeing a truck with a stark trek sticker next to a maga sticker broke my brain.
We need major reform to prevent this shit from happening again. Some countries in Europe have started misinformation training in schools, have outlawed hate groups.. we need to catch up.
Cheap labor, power, and monopolies. Those that cheer on the parties like damn football teams are being fooled by the wealthy who bought them. Politicians have talked about how they fight each other for us on camera and turn around and laugh and have a drink together after. Wake up.
Why are poors and minorities jailed the most while white collar offenders get away with it or pay a small fine? Decades of policies, decades of fighting for civil rights and some dems feel the need to reach across the isle? Absolutely not. Conservatives have wanted the same things from the start.
