Fan comic of the video game characters Tank Dempsey and Edward Richtofen from the video game, Call of Duty Black OPS Zombies (2010). Richtofen bursts in through the door somewhere within Kino der Toten shouting, "Dempsey", with a piece of paper tightly clenched in his left hand. Dempseys face is sour as he utters the words, "Ah crap." Dempsey is looking away from Richtofen, his face still sour as he says, "Yeah yeah I know. Dempseys falls silent, an expression of shock, as he suddenly finds himself in Richtofen's embrace. His face then goes into one of confusion, a sneer now on his lips as he says, "Ew gross!! LMG (which means "let me go") Richtofen!" Richtofen responds with tightening his arms around Dempsey, out of his view is Richtofen, with a genuine look of worry for his safety, he doesn't utter a single word. Dempsey sighs, slightly blushing as he says to Richtofen, "There, there I'm Tank friggin' Dempsey for cryin out loud. It'll take more than that to kill me."Richtofen releases his embrace on Dempsey walking away with a soft smile on his face and a caught off guard Dempsey in the background watching him leave, "Ja, Ja, I know meine dear American friend." Dempsey folds his arm, one eyebrow lifted, with a soft smirk on his face which makes his dimples become visible. Dempsey is smiling as he says, "Hey Tak. You'll never guess what Richtofen just did." Takeo removes a piece of paper that was taped on to Dempseys back whcih Dempsey now notices and asks, "Huh? whatcha go there tak?" Takeo responds, "Richtofen put this on your back." Dempsey now see's the front of the paper that reads in Richtofens handwriting, "Certified Dumbass American!" Dempseys face changes to anger then shouts, "AHHhh! In the first panel I say with joys, "Alright the sketch is turning out pretty good. Now to fill in the eyebrows." In the second panel it shows that I have done a very poor job at coloring in the eyebrows. The last panel shows me with my mouth open, eyes blank, and utterly speechless of messing up something so seemingly easy. It would take me years to learn how to color in eyebrows correctly. For context, I drew this self-comic back in 2022 and have reposted it on here today in 2026.
