5. Allen, Parker, CC, Ichiro, Wagner. Beltran is gonna make it real interesting.

A LOT of color. Interesting.

Good from my sportswriter.

Don’t like Omar. But definitely not the worst ballot out there

….what is this?

I can live with this.

If you block off that middle column this reads very respectably.

This is pretty much the conclusion I came to when I was writing my thesis. That and voters have a tendency to herd vote to what the standard is.

Ah. Philosophy differences. Well I may not agree, but now I understand where you’re coming from.

Hoffman? One of 2 relievers with 600 saves? First ever to 500 and 600? One of ~15 with a 50 save season? One who made it in his 3rd year during one of the most crowded periods of voting ever? He’s not worthy?

Good ballot as well.

Good ballot.

Now I’m curious. What is “enough”?Hoffman/Rivera standard?

Then no reliever ever gets in again? (None will after wagner anyway but that’s a different point)

Maybe when compared to all pitchers but compared to his peers? Wagner is easily a hall of famer. Should slide in easily this year.

So..no in game cheating? That’s the line of logic I see.

Burhele but no Wagner. Why?

One of the ballots of all time.

Troy is hurt by his counting stats, even though WAR mostly agrees with your point. I hope Utley gets jump in 2026, supposed to be a wide open ballot.

I wonder if voters feel there is a lack of HOF shortstops from the modern age. I feel like that’s what is driving it cause the advanced stats do not care for Rollins all that much and lean much more towards Utley.

I think this is probably the best ballot out of the drop.

Big Wagner gain. Still a strange ballot nevertheless. Seems to be the theme from the SF Drop.

Andy/Alex but not Manny/Beltran. And a Torii Hunter vote. Interesting.

Alex but no manny, Burhele but no Felix. Not the worst ballot from the SF drop by any means, just a bit nitpicky.

I am not a fan of this particular ballot.

Unfortunately this is par for the course for Greenwood. Small Hall voter.

I’m not 100 percent behind this ballot but his explainer does a good job detailing the thought process. Solid ballot.

I wish I could say reading the article cleared it up. I don’t think it did, lol.
