Itโs easy to think progress only counts when itโs big: a launch, a spike in subscribers, or a new feature. But momentum comes from small wins stacked on top of each other:
- Sending one more email.
- Talking to one potential user.
- Publishing even when it feels like nobodyโs watching.

a slightly translucent red squid oriented horizontally, its right side facing us directly. its arms are loosely floating in front of it, with two tentacles at the bottom that are coiled up like a spring. the head of the squid has numerous translucent fleshy raised filaments extending beyond the mantle fin is a secondary tail-like structure composed of a shaft nearly as long as the rest of the squid with a line of extremely fine filaments wrapping around it in a helix. there are also a number of much longer, very thin filaments extending messily off of the tail.
so this one has me really excited ๐ฆ๐งช
schmidt saw a planctoteuthis during an unbroadcast portion of one of its dives this expedition and it is - WEIRD -
the arms look like they have a bit of a keel, the tentacles are coiled up, and there are weird fleshy filaments on its head.
One package out, 2000 more to go.
It's this real? finally on Bluesky. Always learning, always growing. What should be the first thing I dive into here? ๐ค
