I had a great time at LDXP Tacoma last weekend! I got to judge both Champs and the 10k! So glad to be doing events again 😊

My one judge-ism that I bring everywhere is when anybody says an event "fired" I pause them and say "launched"

I went to my first live show in over a year and I’ve got the touring bug again. pls let me be on the road again. im very good at selling merchandise and advancing with venues 🥺

I really care about events like this and am trying to live up to a standard I’ve seen from the literal best in the world in this field. I know I’ve got a long way to go to get to that level, but it’s nice to know that my hard work and dedication to improvement is being recognized

I got a lot of compliments this weekend; from players, judges, staff, and the tournament organizer. While I do recognize the areas I could have done better with, I’m choosing to focus on the positivity. I worked very hard in a really tough (and brand new to me!) role and managed to do a great job!

This was my first time in this type of role and I'm very grateful for the opportunity. I feel like I learned so much. Our team launched more ODEs than the previous two RQs combined, and still they were able to keep up with a smile on their faces the whole weekend. Truly a great weekend!

I’m not quite used to this multiple events per month schedule yet and I definitely felt like I was phoning it in, so it was nice to hear some words of encouragement. I still can’t shake the feeling that I could’ve done better, but I’m glad to know my high standards are paying off

Over the weekend, I got to do three days of Comp REL at SCG Milwaukee, including my first time on coverage team! As I was leaving the hotel today, one of the red shirts stopped me to tell me the RC head judges were impressed with my performance and glad to have me on the team

Sometimes I see job postings for steady careers with reasonably high salaries that have some relation to my major and I think “hmm, maybe I should apply.” But then I hear a really good song from someone I’m working with and I remember that this is the coolest fucking job ever

Just on Saturday. I will be the best judge spotter SCG has ever seen 😤
