Tilly getting accustomed to her future mode of transport.
She doesn’t dig loud noises so not so keen on motorbikes.

When out on the Tenere to get a pic of a lifting bridge for the riding challenge game over on revtothelimit forum.
Well impressed with the new Conti trail attack rear tyre, might have to treat the front to a new one too.

Since Avon shut their UK plant it’s been difficult to get hold of any of their 17 inch tubed rear tyres for the Tenere.
So I thought I’d try a Continental trail attack 3. A nice easy fit and should last longer than the previous Avon Roadrider that was worn out in less than 4k miles.

We lived in an identical block of four in Sutton Valence, lovely home with a huge rear garden.
The ones where you get a free blast of the 2 tone horn when you instinctively hit the red paddle above the lhs indicator to cancel 👍🏻
and can I find a replacement Avon Roadrider or Trailrider in stock anywhere…… of course not.
The joys of having a 17 inch tubed rear!
Looking forward to seeing more detail on the flying flea and hoping there’s more on the Leccy Himalayan too.
Might be time for a new rear tyre

Autumn is my favourite time of year for offroading, especially after a big storm.
Slippery enough to make picking a line that gives max grip interesting and all sorts of hazards hiding beneath the leaves to catch me out.
What madness is this, putting the reg/rec there, that hugger won’t stop it getting covered in road shite.

Urge resisted, scoot was in Leigh up North, not Essex, lucky I checked before bidding.
The search for an oddball 80s relic continues, preferably something 2T.

The Flying Flea looks promising, also hope the electric Himalayan gets beyond the prototype stage into production. I’m watching with interest.
Garage needed a cleanup so the tribe moved out onto the drive for the day.

Same here, £25 a month for last 3 years. £350 in credit and they bumped it up to £65 this year, then 3 months later bumped up again to £72. Cancelled the DD and waiting to see what the 6 month bill shows.A cynical person might suspect SWaters motives over this.
Always surprised how clean the oil looks when I change the gearbox oil on the little 2 stroke compared to what comes out of a 4 stroke.I guess it’s because it doesn’t come into contact with combustion gases leaking past the rings like on a 4T.
