I haven’t had notifications on my phone in a decade. A list of exactly five people can break through my DND if they call twice. This freaks 1) millennials 2) Gen Z 3) students out to no end.

I don’t know how we ever thought this was okay but then again I’m old.

i have the files on my phone, i want to play them locally.

i don’t use apple music and was looking to that as a last resort.

no i moved the songs i want to listen to to my phone. no desire to poke holes in my firewall.

so after doing some recovery on my old NAS a few months ago, i now find myself wanting to play songs from my old mp3 collection that are not available on streaming platforms.
