Scientists link a phytoplankton bloom to starving dolphins in Florida In 2013, 8% of the bottlenose dolphins living in Florida's Indian River Lagoon died. Investigations have now revealed that the dolphins may have starved because key habitats for nutritious prey were d...

One more cascading disaster in world profoundly out of balance: "changes in prey availability, system-wide reductions in the abundance of seagrass and drifting macroalgae driven by shading from intense, extensive & long-lasting bloom of phytoplankton"

Figure from a scientific paper, showing a DNA agarose gel (dark grey background) with white bands. I drew colored boxes around different areas showing bands and background areas that look identical. The whole photo looks photoshopped. I have also added a textbox with text in red saying "Unexpected similarities between areas within the same photo"

I reported this artwork to the editors of this Spandidos journal in September 2017, but it took the publisher MORE THAN SEVEN YEARS to retract this paper.
This is what I call a 5-second retraction.

#MDPI still invites me to submit to SIs🙃 I always respond w/ our strain on scientific publishing preprint.

This time, they "welcome the submission" but I should edit it to "expand the discussion" on antioxidants.🤯 #SciPub #ResearchIntegrity #AcademicSky #PredatoryPublishing
