This is a Prime Minister who promised a vote before any military action - that must now happen on Monday.
We should reconsider the term „energy crisis“ when speaking about the effects of the Iran war.
This is very specifically a crisis of fossil fuels and their single point of failure. Fossil fuels are no longer synonymous with „energy“. We have other, better options.

Who are we defending ourselves against? This money being used to support illegal wars.
And get out health service fit to prepare fur a future pandemic.
It was a very hard time. I'm glad the covid enquiry reported back so quickly.
Many more people died than needed to die, partly bad decisions by government but also partly the poor shape of the NHS due to underfunding over years.
You'd think this government would want to do better
What is the point of a 10 year plan that aims to prevent illness, with no extra funding attached, whilst essentially reducing funding for hospitals?!
No sense.
These cuts will be forcing hospitals to reduce staff.
What does that mean?
Already short staffed hospitals will need to push staff even further. And the only way to do this is reduce activity - that means doing less for patients - us! We are the patients.
There are huge cuts being made in the NHS.
This is a CHOICE by this government.
🤬 Unfunded ambitious 10 year plan.
🤬 Pay rise for NHS staff not enough.
🤬 Always money for private health companies and war.

Chronic understaffing and underfunding of the NHS contributed to how difficult it was for covid to be managed.
We are heading into that situation again, with cuts of between 5 and 10% being made across the NHS. This is unacceptable.

MPs are accepting a pay rise of 5% bringing themselves up to £98k meanwhile expecting NHS workers in England to accept 3.3%.
