Victoria Brownworth @VABVOX The Wife's Bestie here. It is with a heavy heart that I must report that Victoria passed away yesterday morning. It was a gentle and peaceful ending to her long fight against cancer. She loved her X community and I hope she will be remembered here. Please remember her in your prayers. 7:30 PM • 5/23/25
Lesbian activist and journalist Victoria Brownworth (aka VABVOX on Twitter) has died.
She was a dear friend for many years, and I know her voice was important to many others.
May her memory be a blessing.
You can call me ageist if you want.
I don’t think people over the age of 75 should be running for office.
I am NOT saying that all people over 75 are ineffective. NOT at all.
Many are VERY effective.
I am saying that they won’t inherit the consequences of their choices.
Your regular reminder that the entire global economy is subject to the whipsaw whims of a person who doesn’t understand how the global economy works
Good morning!
Heading out today?

4 Democrats just voted with republicans to pass the so-called Save Act and disenfranchise millions of Americans… honestly, today I’m feeling more and more… let America burn!
Is all of this because the world laughed at him ?
how come other countries get to have their shithole presidents carted off to The Hague, but not ours. so fucking unfair
Elon Musk wants a government shutdown so it's easier to fire federal workers: report

The hearing tomorrow in Judge Howell's courtroom is likely to be a total smackdown of the government. These are the same judges (district judges in DC) who tried the Jan 6 cases only to have Trump pull the rug out fr under them. And these orders v law firms are stunning assaults on the whole system.

Wow this is embarrassing. Do they have fact checkers at 60 minutes? Aren’t they supposed to be journalists?

Screenshot of MSNBC’s coverage of last night’s collision of two aircraft near National Airport.
This is my local airport, which I use all the time. I just landed there 5 days ago. Reportedly has the busiest runway in the entire Nation. May the souls of all who perished in that area last night rest in peace. I wish peace and comfort as well to all the loved ones they left behind.

Please follow the symbol of resistance, the Jan 6th plaque, which SHOULD be hanging proudly in the Capitol instead of gathering dust in Mike Johnson’s closet. 🪧💙✌🏼
