"I just used AI for a meme." No, you used a specific product, from a company with a vested interest in its mass adoption by the public, and no regard to ethical data collection. It's not just a matter of "I still pay my people at the end of the day."

His replies get under my skin partially bc it highlights one of the big issues with people internalizing GenAI purely as a faceless tech phenomenon and not a series of commercial products with their own (usually lack of) ethics in operation and impacts on people.

These are more meant to convey faces with different "base personalities" and add more diversity to facial features. Also, I was just getting annoyed with all the reductive "Hytale's art looks bad because it's 64x" takes lol.
