On expensive, old, dirty trains which cost a fortune; my water and energy bills have increased an incredible amount in recent years, for United Utilities to still dump sewage into the river by mine.

Is there any wonder people are just fucking fed up?

In all seriousness: im 37, i have a PhD, I live in a rented house costing me a fortune, that had a leak the landlady didn’t get fixed for 6 months, and I have no hope of buying; there’s a pothole so big by my house it gave me a flat tyre which cost £200 to sort; I commute to work

I’m giving an (online) paper next Tuesday at the Institute of Historical Research. If anyone is interested in smaller territories, BOTs and decolonisation, feel free to join.

Enjoyed Wicked but one of the worst cinema experiences I’ve had. Why pay all that money to act like you’re in your front room?
