King Oliver's Dixie Syncopators - Deep Henderson
One of the all-time great 20s jazz records
Seong-han Park breaks the record for most consecutive games with a hit to start the season. Will be very interesting to see if Park garners some MLB interest in the offseason. To me, he’s as good a contact hitter as Jung Hoo Lee and has a better glove at a premium position. But he has no power.
Speed Racer is coming back to theaters before the new 4K remaster hits discs, so it's time for me to remind you that Speed Racer is a cubist masterpiece
It’s impossible to run like this without saying “Uh oh” right before you get going.
31 years ago today on 4/19/1995 white supremacist terrorists bombed Oklahoma City, killing 168 people. In the days after the attack, a Muslim-American man named Ibrahim Ahmad was blamed for the attack. This is the story of the man who didn't bomb Oklahoma City slate.com/news-and-pol...
Park added two more hits today, tying the KBO record for most consecutive games with a hit to start the season. Fun fact, the record was originally set 44 years ago in the very first KBO season.
The Strokes closed their Coachella set with a powerful montage of the governments that the CIA has overthrown, the leaders the US has assassinated, the war crimes America is now committing in Iran, and the genocide Israel is committing in Palestine and Lebanon.
Gotta be this
Nothing says championship mentality like beating a team then deciding they're exactly where you want to be. Satou Sabally's Liberty move is the plot twist that writes itself.

I suppose that’s part of it, but I still watch plenty of MLB!
Ninth-inning single keeps Seong-han Park’s hit streak alive. Now at 17 games to start the season.
Caleb Boushley, who pitched for Texas last season, has begun life in Korea with four consecutive scoreless starts. He’s the first foreign pitcher in KBO history to debut with 20+ straight scoreless innings.
Do-yeong Kim takes Taek-yeon Kim deep in front of a packed Jamsil crowd to give Kia the lead. Do-yeong is now tied for the KBO lead with six homers. Kia is looking for their 9th straight win.
In 2021, Ethel Cain posted a demo called “Wrestling In Dirt Pits” to Tumblr, and it sampled “Angels And Fuselage” from Drive-By Truckers’ classic 2001 album ‘Southern Rock Opera.’ Now she’s covered the track with her band for Triple J’s Like A Version series.

One of the better young arms in Korea, Eui-lee Lee, looked sharp with 8 Ks over five scoreless today.
A bit evergreen at this point, but Do-yeong Kim absolutely annihilated this baseball.

Before Ohtani, before Ichiro, there was Hideo Nomo.
Woo-Jin An touched 98.8 in his first appearance in 955 days. An only went one inning, gave up no runs and got this strike out on straight gas.
