It's a two party system. You have two choices. That's it. There are other systems. We don't have them.

The woman who did our tour was near 80 and I thought was going to have a heart attack while walking us from site to site. I asked her why she hadn't retired. "In Hungary, if you don't work, you don't eat."

A few years ago we vacationed in Budapest. It feels like a victim. And yes, Austro-Hungarian Empire, Nazis, Soviets. But Prague has a similar history and feels like a survivor.

I remember. My daughter was that age as well and girls who got it were slut shamed.

And the reason why I'm less concerned about the right wing takeover of media. Broadcast TV is dying. print has been on hospice for years. We crowd source our news and a lot of our entertainment. We are working towards a new model that isn't there yet, but will evolve.

At this point I'd like to remind people that one of the big reasons we are fifty states dressed up in a single trenchcoat being a country was because otherwise we couldn't pay our revolutionary war bills. (And we still screwed over the veterans, some things don't change)

I would like to point out at the height of U.S. relations with Britain and France, we all spied on each other and didn't take our long term allies "at their word."

My mother was a stay at home mom in the late 60s through mid 80s.....only if you ignore all the part time work she did doing everything from receptionist to light industrial. And even with that, her car barely ran, we never took vacations, we wore hand me downs from my cousins,

Maybe instead of new rules, we need to enforce the ones in place. See also Trump former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

And the US stock markets underperformed other markets last year. It went up, but we did just ok compared to everyone else.

This wasn't unusual in Europe where consecrated ground was in short supply, but bodies were not over centuries of civilization. It's the reason you get catacombs and bone churches. Europeans are historically weird about human remains and did have to deal with practicalities during the Black Death.

Want gross, look up the cemetery of the innocents in Paris where they buried, dug up to move bones to charnel houses, the reused the plot for hundreds of years. Reportedly, by the time it closed, the ground was mushy.

So much would be better if we started teaching critical thinking to kindergarteners and kept at it through high school starting fifty years ago.

Likely overblown, as tb was rampant in that part of England, as someone else pointed out.

In my family, the women are all fine with original names. The men are not...my son is adopted (internationally), my husband doesn't have a birth certificate. Both have passports and have had them forever for this reason...it isn't easy to prove they are entitled to be in this county

And the Nazis also had Death Camps. And Slave Labor Camps. Sometimes all in the same facility.

Every time Rick Scott "what abouts" we should say 'yes, the fraud in Minnesota is troubling, but what about Medicare fraud in Florida?"

And, honestly, the markets were "just ok" last year. We underperformed Europe and Asia, and we know that there is a huge AI shell game underpinning the current valuations.

There is some discussion over how many loser show viewers were bots.

How do you accidentally do that? I slipped and randomly hit the keys to create and post that?

AI is really good at drawing blood for blood work, delivering babies and making sure your bones are set after a tractor incident

Did they miss that this is the community that has multiple George Floyd memorials spread across the metro area?

I think Britain and the EUs point is that it isn't too strong a bond to be broken...and America has broken it.

And the idea that women protest because they are sexually frustrated? Is she a left over Fruedian?

It's consistent with refusing to make a cake for a gay wedding or refusing to fill a birth control prescription as a pharmacist. Not.

All that research you can't do because it would be unethical to refuse health care to someone, done for us by Texas.

But, Somalis.... Tim Walz.....the fraud must be stopped (when performed by brown people and when it's politically advantageous for the GOP to make hay...otherwise, it's cool )

Yep. It would also shut down the "I already paid more than I borrowed" from people who have college degrees, but apparently missed the compound interest math unit in middle school and don't know how money works.
