I'm also curious how different the results would've looked if I'd found some way to do multiple-choice or ranked-choice voting, so people could choose more than just one character, but tumblr polls only let you pick one option, so I had to make that the rule here too for consistency

I was genuinely surprised to see Repaemina get zero votes, and I was doubly (or perhaps quadruply?) surprised to see Zaenumia get 4, since I feel like I draw Repaemina at LEAST twice as often as Zaenumia

For the longest time I'd dismissed animation as something I would never be capable of, but it turns out all I needed to do was be brave, reign my ambition WAY in, know my limits, and learn to draw faster and simpler

The more animating I do the more I feel like I'm maybe more built for it than I thought I was; It feels like I can work on animations for longer periods than I can on regular drawings, and I think a big part of it is that Illustration is Four or Five Big Tasks and animation is One Million Microtasks

I'm not sure I know which one you mean specifically but I did take inspiration from a lot of those old hentai games that were like action platformers, so all the sex scenes are zoomed way the fuck out and everyone's entire bodies are in frame. I feel like you don't see that much outside of games

idk if they changed it for the 3ds versions (I didn't play them because I'm a curmudgeon and like the original visuals better), but in the original you can either mash or wiggle the control stick

jokes aside, it's actually a mistake I make pretty often even though I've played these games so many times; for some reason I always just think the attack has a set duration and you just have to wait it out but actually if you don't wiggle or mash to break free it just goes until you die
