Great news as Port Talbot seems to be the preferred choice of port by many Floating Offshore Wind developers . Success could bring thousands of jobs to our area and see our local economy grow.

I’m incredibly proud to work with cultural organisation across Cymru.

This additional funding is to enable them to build on the great work they do.

Culture in all its forms is for everyone & as the Minister who started on the shop floor — I’m proud of that.

Nathan Gill: Former Reform UK Wales leader charged with bribery The ex-MEP and former UKIP Wales leader is to appear in court on Monday on charges of bribery.

Reform’s real offer? Continuity chaos - more of the Tory madness/scandals that stopped the country moving forward for the past decade. “Former Reform UK Wales leader charged with bribery” www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Today I attended the Holocaust service in Cardiff in which we all pledged to what we can to stop this happening again. We must not let hatred be used against any community.

Joint Communique from the Welsh Government and the Irish Government - Port of Holyhead | GOV.WALES We have received an update this afternoon from Stena that the Port of Holyhead will not reopen until 15 January at the earliest following the damage sustained during Storm Darragh.

It is a difficult time for businesses in north Wales and Ireland, and for the community of Holyhead.

We're working together to provide alternatives and minimise the impact on passengers, freight and businesses.

Please read our joint statement with Irish Gov 👇

Many people across Wales are still without power following #StormDarragh.

Energy companies are working to get you connected as soon as possible and we're doing all we can to help them.

I would ask you all to please check in on vulnerable neighbours - and call 101 if you're concerned.

Today at 6.45pm an emergency alert system will be issued.
This is in the light of the Met Office Red warning for wind across large parts of Wales from 3am until 11am.

The Emergency Alert system will send a message to every mobile phone in the affected area. It is much louder than a normal text message, so your phone will make a loud noise and flash until you turn it off.

The system was tested in April last year and reached phones across the UK. It is only used in areas when there is a potential threat to life, such as a red weather warning.

Our pre-conference drinks reception is in full swing.

Massive thanks to the Senedd‘s Deputy Presiding Officer @davefrees.bsky.social for a great keynote and welcome.

He left us with the task to research the Senedd reforms over the next few years and feed back our findings.

Sigh - classic fact free nonsense. ‘news’ story here totally fails to mention that Tory plans were for fines of £5k (later reduced to £3k) for each missed heat pump sale. What @Ed_Miliband has done is to reduce that to £500. Headline should read “Miliband slashes Tory boiler tax”
