Upgrade Oracle Database PDB 19c to 26ai with Data Guard and Re-using Data Files (Enabled Recovery)
You get the fastest upgrade by upgrading a single PDB. You can even bring the standby database along and protect your PDB immediately. But there are a few things to be aware of.
Upgrade Oracle Database 19c PDB to 26ai with Data Guard and Restoring Data Files (Deferred Recovery)
Upgrading a single PDB is the fastest option, but what about Data Guard? Here's how to upgrade a PDB while ensuring the standby protects the PDB.
Upgrade Oracle Database 19c CDB to 26ai with Data Guard – Standby Offline Method

Upgrade Oracle Database 19c CDB to 26ai with Data Guard – MAA Method
Upgrading Data Guard is easy when you use AutoUpgrade. Here's one way of doing it - using the MAA method - which keeps downtime low.
Here’s how to upgrade a single PDB using refreshable clone PDB. It’s a faster approach but you must take care of your standby database.
It was a pretty low-level start of the day 👍
Good to see you too.
Btw. I did find an espresso in the dinning area of the train ☕🚄

I saw this movie as a kid in the cinema. I watch it again at every occasion.
Still makes me so sad that he never gets to see Montana. 🫣
It's always 42 😂
Here’s how to upgrade a single PDB using refreshable clone PDB. It’s a faster approach with an excellent rollback option; it preserves the source PDB.

You REALLY want to win when you're willing to inject acid into your private parts. 😳🫣
Looks like a beautiful wintery day. Dun and frost is a heavenly combination.
Here's how to upgrade your 19c non-CDB to Oracle AI Database 26ai when you have Data Guard and want to re-use the data files and go live faster.

Very lengthy introduction of the speaker themselves and the company that they work for. If it lasts several minutes, there's big chance you lost me already.
What's the worst a speaker has put you through?
I'm doing a presentation on public speaking and I'd like some example of what not to do. What do you think should be banned from public speaking or presentations?
I remember using it for a central database to which hundreds of other databases would connect via a database link. Each "client" database could have many open connections since it was dedicated database links.

I'd like to go. Can you approve a flight for me?
Brand-new monitors from Samsung today. Nice 27" ones. Built-in USB-C hub, ethernet, plus tons of USB-A. But not a single USB-C outlet... What on earth! That's just ridiculous.
Yes, I should have done my homework, but come one. Who would produce such stuff today! 🫣😡
Ahhh, I see. It would be nice with an Oracle library somewhere where all this would be stored (and easily searched). But I guess that comes with tons of problems and considerations.
Why do you think it's disappointing? I see that good knowledge getting lost is sad, but as people retire or leave the tech space I understand that they don't want to pay the fee for hosting a webpage.
Interesting...
