Not I think a ballad, at least not one I've seen, and unfortunately our visual search engine's offline at the moment. I'll give it a go once it's back up. It's great, though!

Hello Bluesky, in September I'll be out of contract and would be grateful to hear of any potential teaching (early modern lit) or research (with archives, rare books, humanities data) work. I'm based in SW England. Thank you!

A close-up photo of a person’s hands paging through an old book. Several slips of paper are tucked at intervals into the pages. Overlaid on top of this is a block of white text on a dark red background, which reads, “The NEH is an essential force for good, helping individuals and communities understand our past, engage the present, and provide a vision for a better tomorrow.  RBS affirms the vital importance of the NEH in supporting programs and grants that enrich the cultural understandings of our citizens, our communities, and our nation.”

Now they are coming for book history – and why wouldn't they? They think that books only belong on shelves.

This is devastating. Ending such an amazing initiative is just stupid and cruel. Love and solidarity to all Booklab staff, students and affiliates.
