If I'm honest, it's been nice for some folks, but it's been bad for many for a long time. It is definitely worsening, though, because folks who were comfortably "middle class" are now experiencing struggles that lower income Islanders faced all along - housing, food costs, access to services, etc.

Oh I thought we always were... but yes, it's getting worse.
