Meterless side swap routing off of CH 5H/6H/2H. Microdash c.S after Tatami to cross under then end with 5K > 6H > slightly delayed H Kabari. Without the delay the followup will occasionally whiff. Seems universal, c.S timing seems tighter on characters like May. #GGST_BA

Credit to LK for this routing as I saw him doing it on stream. Not having to hit confirm j.D makes this much simpler to go for in real matches so I wanted to show it as an alternative to my last post.

On block this Tatami is +13. The very low hitstop of Tatami makes this a strong strike/throw situation but is a bit less scary than the typical 66FRC j.H situation. You trade the better pressure on block for the better reward of keeping the opponent in your pressure on hit. (3/3)

Close to/in the corner if you do 66FRC Tatami it will whiff when YZN hits, so you must do 5FRC Tatami. However further from the wall 5FRC will whiff and in turn you must do 66FRC to get the combo to pick up. Learning these distances will take a bit of time. (2/3)

Another sideswap route from YZN. This one does more damage than the last one I posted and doesn't require a hitconfirm but it does face its own issues due to FRC Tatami being a bit finicky. (1/3) #GGST_BA

This route should be universal (tested everybody but Dizzy, Elphelt, Slayer, ABA) and works even if the opponent gets hit by the c.S, but if they got hit by your safejump the j.D will not sideswap. Do a different route or salvage with j.D > ADj.K > j.236S in those situations. 3/3

Autopiloting FRC j.D will leave you in a bad situation on block, so you must confirm the Youzansen hit. On block you can go into j.H as usual. Confirming this isn't easy but it does seem doable with practice. (2/3)

Using the new Youzansen vacuum you can opt to avoid breaking the wall from TK Youzansen against a cornered opponent to get a HKAB knockdown instead. Useful for when the wall is already damaged or you simply don't want a meterless wallbreak, but with a caveat. (1/x) #GGST_BA

It's a mix of air movement being universally weaker in Strive and her grounded initial dash speed being significantly reduced relative to other characters. In Xrd her dash is more or less middle of the pack, while in Strive her dash is only faster than Bedman, Goldlewis, and no-install ABA.

That circle animation is feeding my hope for it being a rework, I'll be so sad if it ends up just being a far parry buff. Need those patch notes to drop quickly so we can see if we got some nice less flashy changes alongside the shown stuff as well.
