I found this birding book along the side of the road on the Tamiami trail in the Everglades on 8/25/25. It is so well loved with sightings going back decades. If you're a birder (I am not) please spread the word and hep me find the owner so they can be reunited

It's very worth watching! I saw it in a theater full of college students, professors, and librarians. And I remember hearing about many of the stories reported as they were happening.

Answering questions about how I came to write this memoir, its impact on me and how I hope it affects readers, the significance of the title, and more.

Definitely go back and read Tangerine! I read it when it first came out and still remember so many scenes.
