2026 will almost certainly be another year in which we here in Norway spend WAY more than the gov't forecasts we'll spend on building more fossil fuel infrastructure

This is not healthy at all. It smacks of unplanned desperation, I think.

All the acronyms used in climate discourse deliberately keep laypeople out of the discussion, as Andreas Malm and @wimcarton.bsky.social note in this excellent book. They call the acronyms, "poverty of substance." so good. so so good.
