@jechtmurray.bsky.social : I *think* I WW by holding back to block until Chronomaton is a 10/10. If jecht goes first he's at 1/0 spores and 6 saprolings when i swing so can't kill on block, will die if he doesn't block 2x, and can't crack back fast enough thru factory/chumping

There are a few options. Linear is technically misspecified but might be okay. Fractional logit is an option. I haven't used glm-gamma.
Yeah I think count ~ log(exposure) is what you want. Possible the FEs are collinear with exposure? But even then you'd want count and not rate on the LHS.
Quick someone get me a madeleine
I just forgot about Cardiacs for about five years and then my daughter said the name of this song verbatim for an unrelated reason, and now I am flooded with memories and am having a very good day youtu.be/N6_0gXDTkXU?...
Yep didn't consider the issue of "tapping out means you can't counter stuff" when picking my deck :(
Nickchk is DD vs @nicholaslynn.bsky.social. I counter the inquiry, and then griffin comes down before rootwalla wins. We stare.
Nickchk is LL vs achilleslaststand. They lead with two constructs and are already winning the race. Plus if I actually drop griffin they can elixir and make two more.
Nickchk is LL vs elyv and bannedhat. If I ever drop griffin, they do their thing and I lose. They have another threat so I can't force a draw
Nickchk is DD vs @mutantmell.net and jku06. If I ever drop griffin, they do their thing and I lose. So we stare.
Actually shoot no I don't, this deck sucks. I didn't think about if I build up to 9 mana I can't drop griffin and then hardcast force same turn
I believe I DD the wasteland decks and @nicholaslynn.bsky.social and WW everyone else
They're certainly not identical but I'd say they're more similar than not. They're also all testing different parts of the reproducibility question.
SCORE paper, analytical robustness: www.nature.com/articles/s41...
SCORE paper, reproducibility (I'm an author on this one): www.nature.com/articles/s41...
SCORE paper, replicability: www.nature.com/articles/s41...
I4R paper: www.nature.com/articles/s41...
In case you've seen results going around today about a paper on reproducibility in the social sciences in Nature and it seems like reactions differ, you could be forgiven for being confused because there are actually *FOUR* such studies all published the same day, with somewhat differing results.
SCORE, a collaboration of 865 researchers, is now released as three papers in Nature, six preprints, and a lot of data (cos.io/score/). SCORE examined repeatability of findings from the social-behavioral sciences and tested whether human and automated methods could predict replicability.
Glad you like the book! To be clear the 'there you have it' part does rely on having the ability to actually answer the question. This is distinguished from the Sesame Street version of the question where, having answered it, we can still wiggle our way out of it.
i mean it's not the end of the world but it's just a lot of very tricky matchups
@proptermalone.bsky.social please confirm if Deaths Shadow and friends are banned
Nah it's WL, the Talent goes to level 2.
@jslandau.cc vs. @proptermalone.bsky.social is DD. Chronomaton can be 5/5 before Cecil wins, then holds back until it's a 20/20 and wins. So going first, thoughtseize has to hit chronomaton. Therapy -> cecil, draw. Going second, Chronomaton and then Cecil can never swing and risk losing deathtouch.
vs. @jkyu06.bsky.social is accurate at WL but for hte wrong reason - thoughtseize takes mox. if it takes talent it would be a draw.
@jslandau.cc vs. @nicholaslynn.bsky.social is DL. Rootwalla can block as a 3/1 and keep Cecil from attacking.
if @jslandau.cc is NOT swinging but trying to win, then hexdrinker can sit back and get to lvl 8, when it does swing to 20-10, swing back 18-8 and transform, worse than before. so can't win. draw?
hexdrinker lvl 1, cecil, lvl 3 no swing. eventually level 8, 20-14, then 20-8. worse. This is WL.
let's do @jslandau.cc for funsies
@jslandau.cc vs @mutantmell.net is a W on play but on draw if trying to win:
hexdrinker lvl 1, cecil, lvl 3 swing 20-16
trying to deal max damage before flipping:
swing back 18-14, lvl 5 swing 18-10, swing 16-8 transform, lvl 7 16-4, 12-8, lvl 8 12-2, 8-6, dead
them: play guy
you: citadel and thoughtseize to go to 3, swing with 10/10, die or block and die next turn.
@brythefryguy.bsky.social vs. @meatballwalrus.bsky.social is WD.
you vs. meatball , you first
you: 17-20
them: trees
you: 14-20
them: trees on 1, trees
you: 11-20, shadow is 2/2
them: trees 2 and 1
you: 8-20, swing 8-15
them: trees 3 and 2
you: no tap, swing 8-10
The rest I think are accurate! We made it ❤️
Now! Achilles can make a blocker each turn and swing with bearer. They each lose 1 life each turn, but Achilles started higher. So Achilles wins. Fg can't win and forces draw by thoughtseize on bearer, then aunties on shadow. @brythefryguy.bsky.social vs @achilleslaststand.bsky.social is DD
@brythefryguy.bsky.social vs @achilleslaststand.bsky.social augh!
So fg can def force a draw. But can he win? On play, thoughtseize 15-20, bog, 12-20 shadow, bearer. Citadel swing 9-16. Token swing 8-15
@brythefryguy.bsky.social vs @bannedhat.bsky.social fg wins on play. On draw, storm world! Seize takes ronin 14-20, paradise returns and 14-17, 8-17 shadow, 8-14, 4-14, swing 4-5, 4-2, then lose. This is WL
@brythefryguy.bsky.social Vs @ryanstephens.bsky.social thoughtseize can't hit wasteland, this is DD
