You start by calculating the number of moles of whatever from the given and balancing the equation. You then divide the # moles by the StCoeff to get the SE. Everything else flows simply from there. For example, in a limiting reactant problem the limiting one is the one with the smallest SE. 2/2

Amen to that. Our luck was to find a group of social workers who before becoming consultants had worked for the state inspecting care homes. Mom's problem was physical (sight, hearing) and it was particularly hard to find a facility for her.

At BCCE some years ago (2018?) I remember a talk where the presenter was sharing a nifty worksheet. If students followed the instructions on the worksheet, they would always set up stoichiometry questions correctly. The presenter was so proud of how error-free the worksheet was.
