When it’s painfully obvious that you’re just using a web app in a trench coat.. For a brief moment, my messages in Microslop Teams messages were surrounded by <div> tags.

As the father of a middle schooler I have seen the rebellion against AI forming there — even using “that’s AI, bro,” not indicating something is literally AI, but that something is metaphorically so — it’s sus, it’s bullshit, it’s bad weird

I think the biggest Liquid Glass crime on Tahoe has to be QuickTime. The blue is all wrong.

Having seen two total solar eclipses myself, it’s depressing knowing how no image will come close to conveying what the Artemis II crew is witnessing right now.

Unbelievable how many fake image I see being posted claiming to be from the Artemis II mission. And then on the flip side, how many people claiming the real photos are fake.

I hate this timeline.

I’m a lefty, and the hotkeys in Silhouette are mostly concentrated on the left end of the keyboard, which as resulted in this layout for me when doing roto.

Finally picked up a Wacom remote so I can be more comfortable. But trying to retrain 20+ years of muscle memory is a challenge 😬

See here's the thing. It was hard arguing against a department of defense. Because it's for defense. Do you not like defense?

The department of War, conversely, can get fucked from low orbit. I don't need any wars. Zero conquest required. I would like none of my money going to the lies, thanks

My biggest worry as the Artemis program started sending people into space was how these moon missions will be talked about in the age of social media and… boy howdy is it going to be rough. I truly detest what this shit has done to our collective intelligence.

I finally got my first VFX crew shirt recently: Season 2 of Paradise. I wore it the night I saw Project Hail Mary and the manager always has to tell his employees how I used to work there and now I work on TV shows and movies. Got to smile and point to my shirt 😝

No, I’m not going to upgrade my Mac Studio to Tahoe just to fix AirDrops to my MacBook Neo and better SMB reliability. I’m going to complain that Apple won’t deploy those fixes to Sequoia because THAT’S WHAT I DO HERE.

NASA has published some of the best footage yet showing yesterday’s launch of Artemis ll, the first manned mission to the Moon since the 1970s, lifting off from Launch Pad 39B at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Brevard County, Florida.

A few hours ago, the Artemis II crew fired the Orion capsule’s thrusters, leaving Earth orbit and setting course for the Moon. If you're 55 or younger, this crew has already traveled farther from Earth than anyone in your lifetime.
