Just look at the Drew Adams case. It’s how anti-trans governments win, and they now have all the power and the courts on their side. I hate to be negative, but our chances to win died in November.
I’m a trans civil rights lawyer, and I would gladly take those cases on principle. HOWEVER, they are unlikely to ultimately prevail in this environment. If they win in a lower court, the government will appeal and if they don’t like the result, they will go to SCOTUS, where the government will win.

No matter how many times we trans people told you it was going to get, you told us we were overreacting. Family, friends, even rabbis took part in gaslighting me. The Far Left and Far Right join together in cruelly mocking our situation. Even now, as the very concept of the “Land of the Free” crumbles down around us, we get more gaslighting. The courts will not protect us; they are speedbumps, not roadblocks. I really don’t want to hear that you’re going to “fight” this administration, because you couldn’t even be bothered to get off your asses to vote in November. But I’ve been planning for this for 2 years. I’m fairly privileged when it comes to trans people. I have a lot more money and options than most. Most trans people don’t have that luxury. Often they are marginalized, disabled, living paycheck to paycheck, etc. When it comes time to put them on a plane or smuggle them across a border, will you help? Will you feed them when they show up begging for help? You betrayed us. You failed us. Be prepared to do something about it.
