My uncle hearing I didn't get a final check on my last day and I got paid for my last week on my usual payday. (He knows in exchange for his advice I'll have to take him to get dinner when I get paid)

Bad news: They still haven't actually terminated me at my old job, so I'm missing at least 2 days of vacation pay, max 6 days.

Great news: my lawyer uncle told me because of labor laws they have to pay me a full day's pay each day I don't have my final check so we're already 5 extra days up.
